We delve into a work day of the social initiative called Accompaniment and methodological technical advice in the design and preparation of documentary research reports, by the A Jean Brugger Foundation, an initiative dedicated to strengthening the academic skills of eleventh grade students from the Enmanuel Mongalo y Rubio Institute in San Juan del Sur. This program focuses on providing support in documentary research, helping young people develop a solid theoretical framework, perfect their spelling and writing, and fine-tune their academic presentations. The foundation seeks to provide students with the necessary tools to successfully complete their secondary studies.

This initiative is developed by a group of 6 students with scholarships from the Foundation. Jonathan David Dávila Alemán is one of the members of the group, a young man with a scholarship from the Foundation and a recent graduate of the Public Accounting program. Jonathan, who has stood out for his academic excellence throughout his student life, shares his experience in preparing reports, a skill that he perfected during his time at the university. According to Jonathan, the intention of the program is to support young people so that they do not incur unnecessary expenses during the process of completing their secondary studies, offering them the guidance and knowledge that he himself acquired thanks to the foundation.
During one of these workshops, students such as Mayerling, Mauren, Meredith and María Celeste, all of them in the eleventh grade at the Enmanuel Mongalo Institute, expressed their gratitude for the support received. The students mentioned that they have been guided in structuring their theoretical framework, as well as in identifying and correcting errors in their documentary research. They emphasize that the step-by-step methodology used by Jonathan and the other members of the group facilitates understanding, and working in a group has allowed them to move forward with greater confidence and security.

The meetings are held at the foundation’s facilities, a space that not only offers the ideal environment for learning, but also provides the necessary logistical support for the activities to be carried out effectively. The A Jean Brugger Foundation makes sure that every detail is covered, thus guaranteeing the success of these workshops and the well-being of the students who participate in them.
This social initiative of technical advice and support for eleventh grade high school students is a reflection of the A Jean Brugger Foundation’s commitment to the education and comprehensive development of young people in San Juan del Sur and its surroundings. By providing them with the tools and support necessary to successfully face their studies, the foundation not only contributes to their academic growth, but also sows the seeds for a promising future in their professional lives.
