2026–2027 Scholarship

Empowering Dreams, Transforming Communities

On the occasion of our 26th anniversary, the A. Jean Brugger Foundation reaffirms its commitment to the National Education Strategy and the human and community development of San Juan del Sur. Under the motto “Driving Educational Dreams and Hopes,” we are once again opening the doors of the 2026–2027 Scholarship Program, offering real opportunities for access to technical and university studies to young people with academic excellence and limited economic resources.

We firmly believe that education transforms lives, and it is in rural areas—where opportunities are scarcer—where the impact is even more significant. Therefore, our work focuses on supporting high-potential young people, helping them become professionals committed to the development of their communities.

This effort would not be possible without the support of our partners. We are deeply grateful to our international sister organization, The A. Jean Brugger Education Project (USA), and to the local private sector sponsors who have joined this cause. However, the need still exceeds available resources, so we extend a warm invitation to more companies, organizations, and compassionate individuals to join us as scholarship sponsors. Your contribution can forever change the destiny of a young person.

continuous Improvement of the Scholarship Program

As part of our Scholarship Application process, we have scheduled a two-day informational workshop (July 29 and 30, 2026) exclusively for high school and university students from the municipality of San Juan del Sur who are interested in applying for the first time. This workshop aims to provide clear and practical guidance on the application process, requirements, and the role of social commitment in the institution’s vision.

The call for applications for the 2026–2027 period will be open from August 3 to 14, 2026. Applications must be submitted on time and in the manner indicated on our official platforms.
