Yesterday, Monday, September 25, the inauguration of the baseball camp that the A. Jean Brugger Foundation has developed for 18 years took place, together with the Christopher Shatagin Sports Foundation, which is responsible for financing this beautiful project, which has benefited many boys and girls from schools and children’s baseball teams from different communities and neighborhoods throughout this time.
The objective of the baseball camp is to stimulate and reinforce in boys and girls the practice of the sport of baseball and the acquisition of new skills and values of growth and personal development for life.

For 5 days, children receive theoretical-practical seminars taught by a professional coach on the practical techniques of the sport of baseball, and the last day ends with a friendly game between two teams to put into practice all the knowledge acquired during an entire week. The children also receive uniform shirts, caps and a certificate of participation as a form of encouragement for the project.
This year the baseball camp takes place from September 25 to 29, 2023 at the Miguel Arana baseball team in the Las Pampas neighborhood. 20 children from the Pampas and Las Delicias community and 19 children from the Ostional community benefit. On the last day of the baseball camp there will be a friendly game starting at 9 am between the Ostional team and Marlins del Sur. The winning team will receive a trophy as well as outstanding children will receive medals.
