Sexual reproductive health education for adolescent women and mothers (Day for girls)
This social initiative is carried out by seven medical science students on scholarships. Its main objective is to provide basic information on sexual and reproductive health to young people and mothers from rural areas, in order to improve their quality of life, safety and guarantee sustainable feminine hygiene.

Medical counseling for people with chronic non-communicable diseases “If I know, I prevent and extend my life”
This social initiative is carried out by a group of seven medical science students on scholarships. It consists of facilitating talks focused on the management and prevention of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, among others.

Reinforcement of reading and writing skills “I like to read and write”
The Reading and Writing Skills Reinforcement Initiative is carried out by two groups of 14 scholarship students from the A. Jean Brugger Foundation in the teaching and medical sciences careers. It is carried out in the communities of: El Oro and María Auxiliadora, located in the municipality of San Juan del Sur.

This is the fourth consecutive year that the “Vocational Guidance” initiative has been carried out, aimed at 30 adolescents and young people in eleventh grade of secondary school from the Stella Maris school, located in the municipality of San Juan del Sur.
