Fundación A Jean Brugger, San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua

Our mission is to create and promote educational and community development programs in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. To fulfill our mission we promote the creation and sustainability of educational opportunities through a scholarship program, which includes the requirement to participate in community service projects that benefit not only the community but also the personal and professional development of the students. For a fraction of what a college education costs in other countries, our student sponsors have enabled over 150 local students to attend college since the program’s inception.
Our vision is based on the principle that education is the most cost-effective path to development and improved living standards.
